Platform / AIQR Edge

One gateway instead of one integration per printer brand.

AIQR Edge sits between your ERP and the packaging line. It drives the coder, checks every printed code, pulls failures off the line, and reports back — on your own hardware, and without depending on your internet connection.

Packaging line with an industrial coder, vision reader and reject station

The problem

Integration debt, and a line that stops.

Every printer speaks its own protocol

Connecting industrial coders to an ERP is bespoke integration work, and it breaks again on the next firmware update or hardware swap. The cost is not the first integration — it is every one after it.

When a line stops, the expert is elsewhere

An operator facing a fault mid-shift waits for a specialist who may be in another city. On a packaging line, that wait is measured in thousands of units per hour.

Cloud-only tools fail exactly when needed

Plants are frequently air-gapped or on poor connectivity. A troubleshooting tool that needs the internet is unavailable precisely at the moment the line is down.

What it connects

The whole line, behind one interface.

Each device sits behind a driver interface, so a different make on a future line is a configuration exercise rather than a rebuild.

Coders

Thermal inkjet, continuous inkjet and laser marking systems driven directly at line speed.

Vision readers

Every printed code checked at unit level, so an unreadable code is caught rather than shipped.

Reject systems

Failed units driven off the line automatically instead of being reconciled after the fact.

Sensors and encoders

Shaft encoders and line sensors keep print geometry locked to actual line speed.

Labellers and check-weighers

Carton identity at pack-out, with weight as an independent completeness check.

ERP

Serial allocation and carton registration against the live production order.

Product tiers

Start at one printer. Grow to the whole site.

AIQR Edge Lite

Operator desktop application for a single printer.

Best for One line, one coder, fastest path to serialized output.

AIQR Edge Gateway

On-premise service: job queue, store-and-forward, multi-printer, ERP sync.

Best for Multiple coders on a site that must keep running through network loss.

AIQR Edge Enterprise

Full line orchestration with deep ERP integration.

Best for Multi-line and multi-site operations with formal validation requirements.

Deployment

On your hardware. Behind your firewall.

The deployment model is the differentiator. Plant IT gets remote manageability without opening anything inbound.

Runs on your hardware

Deployed on plant-owned machines, not a vendor appliance you rent.

Fully siloed

Its own contained runtime, a dedicated service account and capped resources, so it cannot starve anything else on the machine.

Local data stays local

Production data never leaves the plant.

Outbound-only management

Fleet dashboard, remote logs, signed over-the-air updates and audited remote configuration all run over a connection the plant initiates.

No inbound ports

Nothing for plant IT to punch through a firewall — usually the shortest security review in the project.

Edge Intelligence — roadmap

Help at the line, not in another city.

This is our development roadmap, published so you can plan against it. None of the capabilities below are available today — each shows its current status. Ask us for the timeline rather than assuming one.

Assist

Milestone 1 — in design

An offline troubleshooting copilot. A small language model runs locally on the plant's own hardware, grounded in per-printer playbooks and live gateway telemetry, so an operator gets a first answer without waiting for a specialist. Works with no internet. Multilingual: English, Hindi, Malayalam and Arabic.

Watch

Milestone 2

Telemetry anomaly detection and predictive maintenance.

Verify

Roadmap

Camera-based print quality checking.

Adapt

Roadmap

Automatic printer protocol fingerprinting.
